High-Resolution
Site Characterization

Continuous subsurface data, delivered in real time and built into 3D conceptual site models.

GeoImaging operates high-resolution site characterization tools that log lithology, hydraulics and contaminant screening continuously with depth, and also take discrete groundwater samples. Field data is delivered to your project dashboard in real time, and is then built into 3D conceptual site models.

Every push returns thousands of data points.

Our HRSC tools collect in situ measurements 20 times per foot as they advance, building a detailed vertical profile at each location. We provide specialized tools to meet each investigation's requirements, with capabilities spanning lithologic and hydraulic logging, contaminant screening, and discrete groundwater sampling.

We transform raw data into 3D site models.

Interactive 3D models of contaminant distribution, lithologic cross-sections, footprint maps, and depth slices put the subsurface in context, from any angle.

We build the models in C Tech Development Corporation's Earth Volumetric Studio and can integrate existing site data with new HRSC logs.

What GeoImaging adds to your investigation

  • Continuous vertical contaminant screening across multiple locations identifies likely source areas and maps the distribution of impacts at higher spatial resolution.

  • View contaminant, lithologic, and hydraulic data together to understand where contaminant mass is retained, how it moves, and what controls both.

  • Use clearer subsurface evidence to target confirmation sampling and select well locations, screen intervals, and injection points.

  • Adjust investigation locations, step-outs, and sampling intervals as results arrive, while the crew and equipment are still onsite.

  • HRSC’s measurement density improves interpolation between locations and makes a better-resolved 3D model possible.

  • Reduce subsurface uncertainty before committing to further investigation, a remedial approach, or permanent infrastructure.

Wherever the work takes us.

Our crews mobilize across the U.S. and internationally when a project calls for it. We work inside active facilities, on tight urban lots, under limited headroom, and at remote sites. The setting changes. Our standard does not.
